Start with the water environment

The right evaluation starts with the venue. Map the water area, camera positions, operating hours and staff workflow. An indoor pool, a resort pool and a managed open-water area each present a different monitoring context.

  • Record pool dimensions, depths and access points.
  • Identify available camera views and installation positions.
  • Describe lessons, recreational sessions and busy periods.

Compare operating capabilities

Compare systems by how they turn footage into a usable alert. Ask for a demonstration of behavior analysis, tracking between views, event location and the notification channels your team will use.

  • Check coverage above and below water where relevant.
  • Review how an event is located and presented.
  • Compare event records and multi-venue management.

Plan deployment and acceptance

A deployment plan connects requirements, site investigation, equipment installation, calibration, testing and training. Define acceptance scenarios with the operating team so the handover reflects the way the venue will use the system.

  • Agree on monitored zones and alert recipients.
  • Test the notification and response procedure.
  • Document staff training and ongoing support arrangements.

Prepare your site with the deployment guide
